Is money a COVID-19 transmission vehicle?
Money changes hands hundreds or even thousands of times during circulation, finding itself among objects that, if contaminated with viruses or other microorganisms (such as bacteria) can serve as a vehicle for transmission. It will not, however, be a common form of transmission for COVID-19. Hand hygiene when handling money is a good practice that, regardless of the current pandemic context, should always be applied.
